RECRUITMENT CAMPAIGNS
UNIVERSITY OF WEST FLORIDA
Following the overwhelming success of UWF's "Make a Splash" recruitment campaign, the University sought ways to update the design – and also launch new creative and campaigns – while keeping in line with the established messaging and direction.

PUSHING PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS
TO JUMP IN AND SPLASH BIG
A VIEWBOOK THEY COULD DIVE INTO
The latest iteration of "Make a Splash" needed a refreshed suite of recruitment materials. I was tasked with revamping the viewbook, working with fellow creatives to develop the layout, helping determine the visual direction of each spread, and (of course) writing the copy across the book.

TAKING TRANSFERS TO A WHOLE NEW LEVEL
UWF wanted to recruit transfer students of a higher academic caliber. So, in a digital ad campaign, I highlighted hands-on academic opportunities and used language that threw a little shade at the un-splashy educations students got elsewhere (slide 1).
I also wrote a digital ad series to drum up awareness about updates to UWF’s online program, starting with its online M.S. in cybersecurity.
"Y'ALL ARE SO BAD!"
(our client's spirited reaction to our subtle shade throwing)
LIVING THE SWEET,
SPLASHY, ARGOLIFE
In 2017, UWF Housing was facing competition from off-campus properties. We needed to figure out how to lure prospects away and into campus living.
Our solution: ArgoLife, showing students that the best way to Make a Splash was to live right in the middle of the splash zone.
After launching the campaign (with me co-writing the brochure) we helped increase rental contracts by 34 percent in the first few months.
