SAVANNAH STATE UNIVERSITY
Smart. Bold. Proud. Seriously Impressive. Savannah State's new brand campaign wasn't just a line. It was a resounding truth about an under-recognized university that definitely deserved its flowers.
Following the fanfare of its launch, we needed to take the campaign beyond the campus. That meant telling the stories of students, faculty, and alumni to share new perspectives and change perceptions about Georgia's oldest public Historically Black University.

SPREADING THE WORD
I conducted interviews and focus groups, wrote, and edited nearly 40 stories. Plus, I guided the visual design and helped develop the content strategy. And we published everything on the brand-new microsite we created to host all of the Seriously Impressive stories we could find.

PUTTING IT TO PRINT
I also helmed the writing and strategy for Savannah State's viewbook, planning the layout, curating new stories and impressive facts, and writing the content.
