MAKING THE CUT
Marcel was a just-graduated barber pretty new to the industry. I wanted to create for him a lil somethin' somethin' to commemorate his entrance into the barbering world.

BRAND IDENTITY

A BUZZWORTHY IDEA
To start, I asked: What kind of clippers do you use? I took Marcel's answer (Andis Master) and his initials to give him a more personalized graphic mark.

DRUMMING UP BUSINESS
For the most part, barbers build up their own clientele. But you can't do that on a wing and a prayer. So I equipped him with business cards featuring the new mark and pattern I designed.

GIVING IT THE OL' RAZZLE DAZZLE
I knew that, when creating this business card, the logo would look pretty kick-ass in a metallic finish against a matte background. So I brought that vision to life on the real-world page. (Is a 2"x 3.5" piece of card stock still a "page"?)
